Taco Toaster Cooking Instructions
Before Starting: Tortillas are as different as people’s tastes. Some tortillas cook better or are more to your liking than others. If you are not getting the results you want, try a different tortilla brand. Wash Taco Toaster thoroughly before using.
1. Align Grains
Align tortilla so grains are horizontal in Taco Toaster.
2. Place Tortilla
Place tortilla in between the first short and first tall pillar.
3. Fold Tortilla over
Roll top of tortilla into slot between first tall pillar and second short pillar. Do not sharply bend tortilla.
4. Center Tortilla
Adjust tortilla so that it is centered on tall pillar.
5. Load Remaining Tortillas
Repeat steps 2 through 4 until Taco Toaster is full. Put Taco Toaster in microwave.
Caution: Do not use the Taco Toaster in an oven. if the Taco Toaster gets hot during cooking, allow to cool before using again. Do not cook with a wet Taco Toaster. Do not expose to open flame. Taco shells are hot after cooking, take adequate precautions. Overcooking will cause burning and damage to Taco Toaster.
6. Cook
Cook per recommended settings initially. Allow tortillas to harden slightly after cooking. All microwaves are not alike. You will likely have to adjust the cooking time to give you the crunch texture you desire. Start at a low power and increase by 15 second intervals as needed.

How to get the great taste of oil into your taco shells
Spray or wipe a very light amount of oil on the tortilla prior to cooking it in the Taco Toaster. Experiment with different types of oil and try added taste to the oil, like garlic. Have fun!
Mini Taco Cooking Instructions
- Cut tortilla into three long equal length strips.
- Place the three strips into the Taco Toaster as if they were still one complete tortilla.
- Repeat steps 1 & 2 until Taco Toaster is full.
- Put filled Taco Toaster in microwave and cook with same settings as regular taco shells.
